9:00 am.......SHOW SET UP DAY,ALL VOLUNTEERS WELCOME AND NEEDED !!!

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 7, 2009

8:00 am to 6:00 pm.......Registration of livestock at the WJLS office in the Lyons Building

8:00 am to 10:30 am.......Check in Market and Futurity Beef and Futurity Heifers

8:00 am to 1:00 pm & 4:00 pm-6:00 pm.......Check in all feeder and breeding beef, market and breeding sheep, market and breeding swine and dairy animals.

9:00 am to 6:00 pm.......Non-Livestock exhibits entered in the NE corner of the Soule Building

8:00 am to 6:00 pm.......SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS due at the WJLS OFFICE,SCHOLARSHIP INTERVIEWS must be scheduled at the WJLS OFFICE. You must be a current High School Senior to apply for a scholarship

12:00 noon.......FUTURITY BEEF SHOW BEGINS, followed IMMEDIATELY BY THE MARKET BEEF SHOW, then the FUTURITY HEIFER SHOW

2:00 pm.......BEEF SHOWMANSHIP CONTEST in the Soule Building, Starting with BEGINNER followed by the JUNIOR and then SENIOR beef Showmanship. There will not be split arenas for showmanship.

11:00 am........BREEDING BEEF SHOW

12:00 noon.......DENVER TRIP POINTS SHEETS DUE IN THE WJLS OFFICE

1:00 pm.......SHEEP SHOW (SHOW ORDER:BREEDING SHEEP, MARKET LAMBS,SHOWMANSHIP)

2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.......GRASS AND RANGE PLANT IDENTIFICATION CONTEST, NW corner of the Soule Building OPEN TO 4-H MEMBERS AND ADULTS

4:00 pm.......WJLS SCHOLARSHIP INTERVIEWS BEGIN, check in at WJLS OFFICE.
